    Description


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Ensure flow of raw materials into departments assigned. Pull and deliver raw materials necessary for production in an organized, safe, and consistent manner, providing for the rotation of stock and the preservation and security of all materials.
    • Pull and stage finished good for shipment, label appropriately, load trucks as needed.
    • Operate material moving equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.) as required.
    • Palletize and label finished product as assigned.
    • Prepare raw materials unused by production for storage and return to the warehouse when applicable
    • Strive to continuously improve the efficiency of the systems and operational aspects of material handling and production activities.
    • Maintain proper housekeeping procedures in warehouse and loading dock.
    • Perform all duties in compliance with the LHB ISO Quality system procedures.
    • Conduct all business in a positive, relationship-building manner at all times to ensure that function is successfully integrated into Lighthouse production, material management, and accounting processes
    • Maintain the required output levels as specified by supervisor.
    • Receive all incoming products, materials & items, inspecting for damages, verifying items & quantities against packing slips as well as PO's.
    • Secure all received & existing materials in an organized, safe & consistent manner, providing for proper rotation.
    • Maintain files pertaining to all warehouse activities in a neat & orderly manner.
    • Assist Shipping/Receiving manager with daily duties as needed.
    • Fill in for Shipping/Receiving manager as needed.
    • Prepare shipping paperwork, labels, and route trucks as needed.
    • Work and coordinate within the product flow of the department and coordinate all activities with supervisor.
    • Adhere to the Lighthouse safety plan by utilizing safe workplace practices and reporting all injuries, accidents,
    near misses, emergencies, and safety hazards.


    • Conduct all business in a positive, relationship-building manner at all times.
    • Ensure finished goods are stored securely. Report defective or damaged finished goods to Shipping/Receiving manager.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Requirements


    JOB QUALIFCATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    1.


    Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    2.


    Special Knowledge or Skills :
    Able to read, write clearly and accurately measure & count materials. High degree of organizational ability & attention to detail. Ability to work with little to no supervision. Must have previous forklift operation experience. Paper Clamp forklift operation experience helpful.


    Basic Computer skills:
    Microsoft outlook, Excel and Word, basic internet usage.


    Experience: One year of experience in Shipping/Receiving is required. Warehouse experience required. Previous experience with

    ISO 9001 is helpful. Additional experience will be considered when hiring.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

    Physical :

    Able to perform duties as required by department and function, accommodations may be made if reasonable and feasible; Able to bend, stoop, climb, stand and walk on a regular basis; ability to lift 60 lbs and maneuver 500 lbs throughout the day.

    Able to travel throughout the facility to safely and effectively manage all work responsibilities, breaks, and emergency evacuations, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    Able to manage all self-care needs and activities of daily living as required to support successful employment, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

    Working Conditions: Inside and outside, production and warehouse environment.

    Work Schedule: Typically 40 hours, M-F, may be more or less depending on business need.

    Background Check and Drug Testing required: Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results.
