- Acquire ordered images, evaluate their quality, and send them for interpretation. Repeat images as needed. Understand equipment and procedures for all specialists working within the facility.
- Maintain individual credentials for radiography. Keep log systems up-to-date and follow up on patient requirements such as pap smears, Pb levels, HIV tests, mammograms, STD tests. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Report any unsafe conditions or issues promptly.
- Monitor equipment functionality daily and report problems immediately. Cleanly maintain medical supplies including lead aprons inspected regularly using fluoroscopy checks annually.
