- Create x-ray images of specific body areas as instructed by the physician or radiologist, ensuring clear and accurate films. Provide guidance to patients on x-ray procedures.
- Conduct x-ray procedures using a portable machine as needed by the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Develop films for radiologists' interpretation following established protocols.
- Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians in person and via phone.
- Maintain x-ray and other equipment in operational condition; Perform regular preventive maintenance and engage outside services for major malfunctions as per guidelines.
- Foster positive working relationships and collaborate effectively within the department/unit team to support the achievement of goals and objectives.
