Assistant Controller - $150,000 base + 20% bonus + hybrid

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team in Boston, MA, with a salary range of $150,000 plus a 20% bonus structure.

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting for assigned portfolios, including property accounting and fund financial information.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably 7 years, in real estate or private equity industries, with a strong background in real estate funds or debt funds.

Experience with fair value financial reporting, internal controls, and financial statement preparation is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and manage variable workloads is crucial. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, with an accounting concentration preferred, is required. CPA license and public accounting experience are preferred.

Experience in key areas such as consolidated financial statement preparation, fair value reporting, investor reporting, and contributions/distributions is highly desirable.
