This position entails assessing patients and conducting routine CT procedures while mentoring junior staff and students.

Requirements:

Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
Preferably have CT experience
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or CT certified
Current state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced CT certification within one year
Proficient in computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure

Job Responsibilities:

Verify physician order and procedure accuracy
Operate imaging equipment according to protocol
Review patient images for quality standards
Assist in departmental operations
Adapt behavior to specific patient populations
Remain compliant with laws and regulations

Physical Demands:

Medium Work - lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Standing for prolonged periods
Exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue
