    MECHANICS ASSISTANT / YARD WORKER

    Public Sewer Service is the leading full service sewer & water main company. Servicing all of North Jersey for over 60 years, we specialize in water/sewer main repairs, jet and vacuum work, sewer line inspection and sewer/drain cleaning.

    Public Sewer Service currently has a Full Time position available for a Mechanics Assistant / Yard Worker

    Responsibilities:

    Pickup & delivery of parts, equipment, supplies, etc.

    Assist with stocking of materials and tools & issue to field technicians

    With guidance, perform permit application process within towns

    Work directly with shop/yard manager to perform basic duties a needed

    Work directly with fleet mechanics and assist with fleet vehicle and equipment repairs

    Light, hands-on manual labor, mild to heavy lifting, equipment usage if experience dictates and cleaning/maintenance of yard, etc.

    Any additional duties/needs that may arise

    Qualifications:

    Must have a valid driver's license

    Minimum of High School Diploma/GED

    Basic automotive or small engine repair understanding
