    Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
    Premier, Inc. seeks Senior Quality Assurance Engineers in Charlotte, NC.

    80% Test Scripts /

    Test Automation:

    Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases; Review and provide feedback on test plans and cases of others; Design, develop and execute automation scripts using tools determined by the enterprise; Understand the various AUTs and the test automation requirements, and how that impacts the selection of appropriate test automation frameworks, tools, and solutions; Contributes to the development of a common framework approach for test automation; Utilize common test automation framework to develop test automation deliverables; Utilize ability to create the Test strategy for large projects involving multiple teams; Utilize exposure to test driven development; Mentors and coaches other Engineers on holistic ownership of a solution using an engineering vs development-centric perspective; Responsible for questioning for clarity in requirements and pushing back if these conflict with operational support or performance needs; Assess test gaps with respect to Customer use cases and add them to continuous development pipeline.

    20% Process and

    Tool Competencies:

    Retain Audit compliance while supporting end users during testing cycle; Design and develop standards and the solutions to support them; Attend and participate in process meetings; collect process metrics; create epics & decompose; Understand & manage dependencies; Takes ownership of issues and either resolves them or assign/delegate to junior team members and sees them through to resolution; Implementation of best practice techniques for test-driven development, value-based exploratory testing, risk identification, and production support; Provide direction on areas / products to investigate; weigh pros / cons to recommend the go-forward path; Increase depth of current skill set; learn adjacent skills; high-level use and understanding of all technologies used across the team; Reduce debt in areas related/adjacent to current work; Ensure release is promoted and tested through lower environments, including performance testing; monitor and manage automated test coverage, collect metrics; Vocally advocates for minimal WIP; Models behavior of Engineers being responsible for Testing and other delivery activities.

    Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 4 years of experience.

    Requires 4 years of experience in all of the following:
    Software QA methodologies, tools, and processes; Test automation tools; SQL. Telecommuting permitted.
