    About the department:


    The Trading Risk Management (TRM) group has primary responsibility to provide independent and effective on-site monitoring, controlling, reporting and assessment of ING US' market risk positions.

    The Asset & Liability Management (ALM) team is part of TRM and responsible for assessing asset liability alignment, interest rate and liquidity risk.


    Responsibilities:


    Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of month end processes related to interest rate risk reporting and soundness with respect to internal, external, and regulatory measures of equity and earnings at risk.

    Provide independent review and challenge for all market risk models, including interest rate risk modelling (QRM), economic capital and valuation models.

    Conduct regular IRR reviews with Treasury to discuss exposure and risk mitigation strategies.

    Develop, measure and report stress tests and scenario analyses to evaluate the resilience of the ING US' liquidity risk positions.

    Independently and effectively challenge the first line of defense on ING US' interest rate risk and liquidity risk positions.

    Maintain integrity of Balance Sheet Analytics System (QRM)/Processes with consideration for data, assumptions, processes and reporting through automation, reconciliation, and documentation.

    Keep abreast of all interest rate risk and liquidity risk regulations with respect to U.S. and foreign regulators.


    Assemble the monthly ALCO reporting packageParticipate in periodic SOX and Audit reviewsQualifications and CompetenciesRequirements:10+ years of banking experienceBachelors or master's degree.

    Business, Finance or Computer Science preferredFundamental understanding of bank balance sheets, products and ALM principles (interest rate and liquidity risk)

    QRM experience is a plusStrong knowledge of python is requiredBase Salary Range:
