- Provide the following clinical services in a school setting: Crisis Intervention/Management, Assessment, Individual therapy, Group therapy, and Family therapy.
- Document treatment and related services in the client's medical records according to standards set by PDMHC, SCDMH, QA, HIPAA, and Corporate Compliance.
- Attend and complete mandatory in-service trainings, workshops, and meetings to develop and enhance skills and knowledge. Complete all mandatory training which include First Aid, CPR, and BEST/PMBA.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, treatment team staffing, and provide knowledgeable input. When requested attend interdisciplinary staffing and meetings.
- Maintain a working relationship with other professional staff and coordinate services with community resources as needed.
- Perform other related duties or services as needed.

Job Responsibilities
With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Pee Dee Mental Health Center Marion Office, 1100 S. Main Street, Marion, SC 29571.
Under the supervision of the Children Services Supervisor and/or Marion MHC Director provide counseling services to children and their families through the Marion MHC School-Based Counseling Program.

This position MAY be eligible for SCDMH Student Loan Repayment to cover some of the cost of your outstanding loan(s) balance associated with the completion of a healthcare degree that is relevant to the appliable position.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Guidance, or Counseling. One year Post-Masters and Clinical setting experience.
