    Description

    Assembly Technician at Our Company

    We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in assembling instruments. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday with some flexibility, starting between 7-9am and ending between 3:30-5:30pm.

    What will you do?

    • Follow written work instructions to build electromechanical, fluidic, and optical assemblies.
    • Work with hand tools, test equipment and computer software to build, test and troubleshoot.
    • Collaborate with the manufacturing team and engineering to enhance procedures and designs for more efficient assembly and testing.
    • Ensure high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Be part of a hands-on, creative, self-willed, self-motivated, flexible, and dynamic team.
    • Keep a clean and organized work area that promotes safety, efficiency, quality, and meets customer demands.

    How will you get here?

    Education

    • Requires high school diploma or GED. A 2-year technical degree is a plus.

    Experience

    • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    • Basic mechanical proficiency
    • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
    • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
    • Comfortable working with multiple software applications
    • Physically capable of standing, bending, reaching, and handling bulky parts
    • Exposed to potential hazards like pinch points, fall risks, and chemical exposure typical in a manufacturing environment. Works in diverse working conditions including hot, cold, dusty, elevated, and noisy areas.
