Job description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set up before seating guests
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Process payments accurately
- Adhere to all food handling and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
