Summary:

Strategic Initiatives Analyst works directly with the Procurement Department and Sales team to help facility reserved inventory, vendor and item rationalization, cost changes as well as maintaining and following process improvement.Works directly with Strategic Initiatives Manager to process and help implement process changes.Works directly with team members to provide accurate and timely inventory adjustments as well timely communications.

Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain Reserved Inventory to include working with Sales to sell or release inventory.
• Proactive approach to Cost Changes; communicate with Sales and FP&A in advance of changes.
• Focus on reduction of non-productive inventory.
• Drive accurate ETA updates and communication.
• Identifies root causes and drives issue resolution under minimal supervision.
• Leads solution implementation with key department contacts.
• Works with both client and internal teams to identify continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience. and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
