Office Location: 300 North Prince Street, Shippensburg, PA - Richard Rife Alumni House
Pay: $18.00 when driving Paratransit Operator - $ 20.00 when driving Fixed Route
Benefits package: Paid time off
Schedule: Will fall within our operating hours of Monday thru Friday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and Saturdays 12:30 PM - 7 PM.

The job of a rabbittransit operator is more important than providing a trip from point A to point B. Our operators are essential workers who carry out the Authority's mission of helping people gain mobility.
Throughout the day, our Fixed Route operators safely and courteously transport passengers along predetermined routes. Throughout the day, our Shared Ride Operators safely and courteously transport passengers where they need to go. Responsibilities include completing inspections, maintaining accurate records, assisting passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, receiving and accounting for fares, using radio communications, following emergency procedures, and completing other activities assigned by the Operations Supervisor/ Site Manager. By providing access to safe, reliable transportation, as an operator - you can connect people to places they once believed were beyond their reach.
