    Description & Requirements

    Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a personable, professional and dedicated Talent Management Assistant to join our Talent Management team. The Talent Management Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Talent Management team. This position will handle a variety of benefits and personnel-related administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm/legal department setting preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Creation, maintenance and filing of electronic personnel and benefit files, ensuring data integrity and oversight of the internal personnel site.
    • Coordination of meetings, projects and special events including scheduling appointments, logistics, travel arrangements, shipping and scanning of materials.
    • Oversee expense reporting, payment and reconciliation of invoices to ensure enrollment and budget accuracy.
    • Manage data entry into HRIS and other applicable Talent Management systems for new hires, position changes, benefits updates and performance reviews.
    • Assist in survey completion/response and overseeing ordering, distribution and posting of required labor law posters.
    • Support the administration of Firm Benefits including but not limited to: healthcare, wellness, retirement, disability, life insurance and leaves of absence.
    • Provide general information to appropriate personnel regarding our HRIS system, the personnel processing site and any processes and procedures associated with them.
    • Serve as an administrator for the firm's on-boarding solution.
    • Manage employment verifications.
    • Create and maintain distribution groups/lists.
    • Perform special projects as assigned.
    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Up to three years direct administrative experience outside of school is preferred. Experience as a Human Resources administrative assistant preferred.
    • Undergraduate degree in Human Relations or Human Resources preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle personal, sensitive and confidential information, including Protected Health Information (PHI).
    • Ability to work well under pressure and have sound decision making capabilities, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions.
    • Handle incoming calls and emails accurately and efficiently in a high-volume benefits customer service environment.
    • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, discretion, good judgment, tact and poise.
    • Attention to detail, problem solving skills, ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities as well as adhere to tight deadlines.
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to focus.
    • Must exhibit a high level of proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with benefits provider software systems a plus as well as experience HRIS and payroll systems.
