- Bachelor's degree required in Engineering/Design related field.
- 10+ years of experience in related engineering or design role.
- 5+ years of engineering experience managing small to large teams.
- Advanced degree or Professional Engineering license, preferred.
- Familiar with 2-D and 3-D CAD software, preferably AutoDesk Products.
- Familiar with PDM software and CAD-driven BOM structures, preferably AutoDesk Vault.
- Breadth of engineering knowledge to understand good design practices, principles, and engineering effort.
- Manage the group engineering workload as well as competing priorities to ensure on-time delivery of the team (deliverables, and general engineering support)
- Provide direct technical engineering support as needed to fill gaps due to bandwidth or product knowledge.
- Identify technical gaps and develop templates and procedures to help mitigate.
- Enforce accountability of adherence Engineering Design Standards as they pertain to all Engineering disciplines and ensure these standards/procedures are compliant with corporate regulations.
- Develop and Enforce KPIs based on the behaviors that are desired to be enforced/reinforced.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts with the departmental managers (mechanical, manufacturing and systems engineering)
- Coordinate and prioritize efforts and requests from other business units including Production, Assembly, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing Engineering,
Product Development, Field Service, and Commissioning. - Assist with departmental and project related budgeting and strategic resource/business planning.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop short- and long-term continuous improvement milestones. Track and manage these efforts on an ongoing basis.
- Occasionally assist in moving materials and equipment that weigh ~40lbs.
- Primarily office environment with the exceptions of manufacturing shop visits.
