How you'll make an impact in this role

• Perform high-impact cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, delivering precision imaging that directly supports life-saving cardiac patient care.
• Prepare and position patients for complex vascular and nonvascular interventions, selecting exact technical parameters that drive procedural accuracy and critical clinical outcomes.
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice while vigilantly monitoring patient responses, rapidly reporting changes that can save lives in emergent situations.
• Implement rigorous radiation safety and compliance standards to protect patients and staff while advancing continuous quality improvement in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR).

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
