    Description
    Global Life Science Hub is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Contract Process Engineer based on the Northeast Coast, USA with a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). Our client is a renowned supplier of pharmaceutical and nutritional products to a diverse global market. This position offers the chance to join a rapidly growing team, providing extensive opportunities for career development and professional growth. This will be a full-time 24 month contract position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Optimize process yields and proactively identify/resolve process issues
    • Install small to medium-sized capital projects to improve plant performance and compliance
    • Generate and execute change controls, and validation protocols, and update control code within process PLCs/controllers
    • Monitor and interpret process data, design/install new process equipment, troubleshoot existing processes, and prepare reports for process improvements
    • Assess environmental impact, manage project cost and time constraints, and participate in risk assessments

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
    • 5+ years of process engineering experience in a regulated pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry (cGMP preferred)
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
    • Proficiency in creating code for PLCs and process automation platforms (Rockwell, Wonderware, ArchestrA, Siemens, etc.)
