Job summary
The Loan Processor will primarily handle real estate loans prepare disclosures and loan documents and coordinate loan closing.We are a fast paced department and must be able to monitor all activity in Salesforce and answer phone calls and emails quickly and efficiently.
- Review credit applications and credit reports for accuracyand compliance concerning bank regulations
- Prepare early disclosures that Federal regulators requireResponsible for ordering title searches appraisalsevaluationsand surveys from third party vendorsPrepare documentation for all new Real Estate loans including modificationsand extensions utilizing the Banks internal software FLOand the Banks AttorneysRecord loans on the Banks system and prepare general ledger tickets for fundingReview credit approval packages for accuracy to ensure compliance with Bank policy proceduresand guidelinesCommunicate any deficiencies or exceptions to Production Officersandor Lending Assistantsassist with correctionsPrimary contact for loan documentation related questionsfor all internal personnelVerify all insurance coverage before closingsCoordinate closings with Title CompanyProvide pay off statements as neededResponsible requesting release of liens from Bank Attorneysas neededImage track customers financial informationPreparation of HMDA packages when requiredStay abreast of changes in Bank procedures policiesbank regulations.
