    POSITION OVERVIEWReporting to the VP of Sales, the Solution Engineer will engage in technical discussions with customers in identifying needs, offering solutions, demonstrating products, and providing technical guidance to customers.

    In addition, this position will serve as a primary liaison between Sales and Product, providing timely customer insights to the VP of Product and applicable Product Managers to ensure strong product / market fit and support FRONTSTEPS continued client growth.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinating responses to buyer inquiries, in conjunction with Account Executives, to verify an organizations needs and demonstrate FRONTSTEPS key advantagesManaging and interpreting customer requirements and using the associated details to recommend product solutions to customers and the FS Product TeamConduct product demos with account executives based on the needs analysis (discovery) details provided by the Account ExecutiveProviding technical feedback to customer Request For Proposals (RFPs) in conjunction with Account Executives, as necessaryProviding pre-sales technical assistance and product educationProviding post-sales process improvements in the implementation and training of customersSupporting marketing and sales by attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry eventsWorking with marketing to update materials based on customer insightsWorking closely with Sales Manager in establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers; provide actionable feedback on products, competition, and market conditionsLiaising with members of the sales team and technical experts, including Product and Engineering, in the attainment of annual booking and revenue goalsPerforms other duties as requested by managementSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS A bachelors degree in Business, Product, or EngineeringExperience in product, sales, or a related customer-facing roleExperience within Accounting softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be organized, with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilitiesA polished, nimble, and compelling speaker.

    Thrives when presenting information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external audiencesProficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word and Excel) requiredSome travel is required$90,000 - $110,000 a year This position will be based out of Denver Headquarters and pays an annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000 + $10K - $15K Annual Variable Bonus.

    This position will remain open through May 10th, 2024.
