    Job Description

    • Design internal and external logistics processes that utilize lean manufacturing concepts and engage stakeholders through explanation of facts, requirements and best practices.
    • Define strategies to optimize procedures, minimize wastes, drive problem solving, and decrease logistics costs.
    • Implement future material handling flows and all supporting physical and electronic processes and documentation.
    • Create process standardizations, operator expectations, material disbursement routes, and related KPI/PIs supporting Material Availability at Point of Use
    • Strong data purification and analysis skills; must be able to make data driven decisions and influence.
    • Deliver station designs that comply with internal flow strategies working with cross functional team members on the factory or warehouse floor.
    • Have an understanding of logistics packaging, inventory volumes, and how it impacts supply chain and material handling.
    • Help create a facility that is founded on a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) station layout with just-in-time deliveries.

    In addition:

    Ability to work with component suppliers to communicate adherence of Logistics requirements upon good receiving inventory shipments.

    Understand ASN data structure, packaging and label requirements to successfully work with suppliers to adhere to factory requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • 2+ years of automotive industry experience.
    • Advanced understanding basic computer programs (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, PowerBI)
    • Strong communication, planning, organization and visualization/presentation skills
    • Proficient with AutoCAD
    • Lean manufacturing concepts and principles
    • Ability to work flexible hours (including varying shifts, possible weekends)
