    Genie Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurse's for a local/travel contract in Wichita, KS for a LTAC facility.

    Shift: 3x12s Days/Nights available

    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting overall wellness.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform physical examinations and record patient medical histories
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Assist with diagnostic tests, medical imaging, and laboratory work
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare management
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
    • Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and make appropriate decisions
    • Respond effectively to emergencies and provide immediate medical interventions

    Requirements:

    • Valid RN license in the state of KS
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in ICU or similar environment
    • Proficient in IV insertion, sterile processing, and other nursing procedures
    • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
    • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to provide quality care to patients
