Job summary
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in a team based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician or physician assistant.This position is responsible for patient safety, performing phlebotomy, point of care testing, assisting in minor procedures, processing lab specimens, safe operation of medical equipment provides patient instructions and handling administering medications according to regulatory standards and organizational policy procedure under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant.
This position is responsible for the collection communication documentation accurate patient information/data maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards organizational policies procedures.
Other responsibilities include coordinating requests prescriptions maintain prepare patient care areas ensure efficient effective safe delivery,
