- Ability to perform each essential duty safely and satisfactorily.
- Ability to safely operate a Hooklift truck, Tri-axle dump truck, Mason dump truck with or without trailers, including 6 ton and 20 ton trailers.
- Must pass a drug test and may be subject to random drug tests.
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A, a clean MVR, and must pass a DOT physical
- Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations
- Knowledge of operating, moving, loading, and unloading many different types of construction equipment
- Experience safely securing many different types of construction equipment per DOT regulations.
- Able to follow directions and work effectively alone and in a team environment.
- Able to use GPS.
- Able and willing to work with all necessary PPE all day.
- Able and willing to work dayshift, with night or weekend hours occasionally.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read, interpret and analyze written and oral instructions or regulations.
- Operate the truck safely and efficiently on public roadways and construction sites.
- Deliver equipment, stone, asphalt, etc., to various job sites in CT and surrounding states.
- Complete logbooks, driver inspection reports, and other reports as required by Loureiro, DOT and CDL regulations.
- Keep truck clean inside and out and report any deficiency/issue immediately to supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Ability to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, or controls.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and other vehicles and equipment.
- The noise level in some areas of the work environment may be loud but is typically moderate and hearing protection is supplied.
