    Description

    We are looking for a talented Barista Lead to create a memorable experience for our customers. Your main focus will be on providing efficient service, quality beverages and products, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.

    The Barista Lead will play a key role in training new Baristas, handling transactions, making delicious coffees and beverages according to recipes, and maintaining a top-notch coffee bar while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to food safety protocols.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs
    • Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages following brand standards
    • Handle food items according to location standards
    • Train staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, and cash handling
    • Manage work assignments and task completion for the location
    • Operate the register/POS accurately and handle transactions
    • Organize cash drawer, balance funds, and follow cash handling policies
    • Set up and clean the coffee bar, stations, and store
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
    • Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, and service ware
    • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

    Qualifications:

    • Must have previous successful barista experience
    • Prior cash handling experience required
    • Basic math and counting skills necessary
    • Supervisory experience is a plus
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Proficient in English, with the capacity to follow recipes
    • Food Handling Certification completion needed

    This role may involve physical demands such as lifting and extended standing. Additionally, uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment may be required.

    Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent
