    Maintenance Mechanic

    A manufacturing company in Pleasant Prairie, WI is looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanics to join their 1st or 2nd shift team. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity

    Requirements of the Maintenance Mechanic

    • Plastic extrusion experience
    • Mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Direct blow molding experience preferred
    • Proficient mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical skills
    • Ability to operate Volt/Ohms meter, micrometers, calculator, and be familiar with a variety of tools and equipment

    Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic

    • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance programs on all equipment within the facility
    • Perform daily walk-downs to ensure machines are running at required efficiency and production levels, make mechanical adjustments as required
    • Troubleshoot and fix electrical and other issues on all equipment
    • Operate, start, and stop all production blow molding and auxiliary equipment in a safe manner
    • Assist in machine changeovers, including all downstream equipment

    1st and 2nd shift available, DIRECT HIRE

    Pay is $ $37.00 an hour, depending on experience
