    The position of Warehouse & Distribution Continuous Improvement Facilitator will be located in Spartanburg, SC at the Redwood Distribution Center and will report to the Operations Manager for Redwood. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving continuous improvement programs to support the division's overall strategic vision in addition to collaborating with all teams and operational stakeholders to drive the execution of process improvement plans to achieve best in class operations and service level.

    Role Responsibilities
    • Be a subject matter expert, develop and deploy the continuous improvement program that supports our Milliken Chemical's strategic direction including all aspects of the business system for operations, fulfillment, warehouse, and transportation/logistics continuous improvement.
    • Drive the identification, adoption, and continuous improvement of scalable end to end processes for Redwood and distribution around the world.
    • Own key initiative programs that support Redwood's strategic direction with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
    • Work with operational stakeholders to drive execution on the plans and deep dive opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and define program scopes, short- and long-term goals, KPIs, and outline/ drive the project plan for achieving those goals on time.
    • Work closely with all teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Businesses, both domestically and internationally.
    • Develop continuous improvement standard operating procedures and training materials to deploy to the organization.
    • Be a change agent developing and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and personally lead MPS initiatives across the organization.
    • Define and deliver on quarter over quarter performance in service, capacity, and margin improvements.
    • Improve, drive, and maintain shipping efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, training requirements driving productivity and associate engagement.
    • Complete safety, productivity, process, and cost improvement projects which may require capital expenditures.
    • Participate in Product Line and Supply meetings as necessary to address new products, shipping concerns and customer complaints which may require corrective action and process improvement.
    • Coordinate with corporate logistics to insure appropriate material flow from plants to the Distribution Center as well as outbound shipment execution by carriers.
    SKILLS
    • Strong process, manufacturing, fulfillment, or engineering background with an ability to understand workflow and throughput through the operation preferred.
    • Strong computer literacy skills, including usage of Excel including pivot tables, macros, data links, etc.
    • Demonstrated excellence in collaboration with internal and external business partners to deliver greater operational performance, efficiency, and/or quality.
    • Keen ability to distinguish internal versus external problem sources to properly focus the correct resources to resolve issues quickly.
    • Exceptional prioritization skills to ensure timely resolutions that are appropriate for the severity and impact of the situation.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to adapt in a rapid paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment or critical decision-making skills.
    • Personable and collaborative; strong affinity for working cross-functionally.
    • Incredibly hardworking and willing to do what it takes for us to reach our goals. Results oriented.
    • SAP Warehouse Management and Trailer Management knowledge.
    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree, supply chain, technical or engineering preferred or equivalent experience.

    2-3 years manufacturing, chemicals, supply chain or warehouse management experience, PREFERRED.
