Contract Occupational Therapy in Panama City, FL School Year Full Time Position, Regular School Hours (Mon-Fri)

ASAPExperience/Requirements: School Based Experience is Preferred

• Not Required Experience in a Pediatric Setting is Preferred
• Not Required Licensure by the Board of Occupational Therapy, Florida Department of Professional RegulationCaseload/Responsibilities: Caseload: Grades K 12 Conducts in service programs for school personnel and parents.

Screens all students referred by parents, teachers, medical personnel, or outside agencies and those who come through a screening program. Identified student with motor problems through referral and routine screening. Evaluates students identified through screening as having any noticeable motor deviation.

Assigns students with a motor problem to the appropriate level of service as determined by criterion set by the district procedures for providing occupational therapy services.

Develops an appropriate therapeutic program to meet the needs of each individual. Formulates an individual educational plan with short- and long-term intervention goals and objectives to meet individual's needs.
