    Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.Job SummaryThis position is a key role in the Corporate Accounting team that drives the process to ensure our consolidated financial statements are reported correctly for internal use monthly and in support of our external reporting with the SEC quarterly, in partnership with the Controller, Global General Ledger.

    This role will partner with controllers from across the organization to improve close accuracy and processes, automate efforts where able, and drive global projects that result from us being a growing multi-national organization with a complex legal structure.

    Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for driving monthly cadence to ensure our consolidated financial statements are reported correctly.
    Manage efficient, timely, and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidations and financial close processes, including monthly reporting package.

    Facilitate discussions and work with business groups to ensure business or organization changes are reflected appropriately in our financial statements.

    Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts for accuracy and adherence to US GAAP and internal policy.
    Assist finance teams with OneStream data loads, review reported financials, complete elimination analysis and other consolidation support as required.
    Support internal and external audits through data preparation and answering questions.
    Identify issues with inaccurate data and perform root cause analysis with practical controls and corrective solutions.

    Drive process improvement across accounting and reporting activitiesParticipate in integration efforts for strategic acquisitions and partnerships - ensuring optimal use of accounting resources.

    Build strong partnerships and share best practices with Polaris Controllers.
    Support implementation of new ERPs throughout organization, as needed.
    Perform other duties and miscellaneous projects as needed.

    Skills, Knowledge, & EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA strongly preferred3+ years accounting experience; experience in both public accounting and the manufacturing industry strongly preferredProficient with accounting and financial reporting systemsProficient in U.S.

    GAAP and the COSO FrameworkAbility to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable information and plansStrong analytical, organizational, and project management skills; Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and execute sound decision makingAbility to notice and attend to minor details while at the same time understanding the big pictureDemonstrated strong personal drive, initiative, persistence, and accountabilityBusiness partner, hands-on approach to achieve desired outcomesDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, cross-culturally, and interact with all levels of managementWorking ConditionsDynamic fast-paced team environment.
