    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1 year experience and current ARRT-R certification for a rotating assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Position is based in a diagnostic radiology unit
    Work involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards
    13-week travel assignment with rotating shifts
    Process and transmit images to PACS as part of daily workflow
    Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities
    Responsible for first line customer interaction to ensure imaging needs are met
    Certification for Workplace Violence Prevention may be completed as required
    No pay differentiation for local versus travel candidates

    Requirements
    Current CRT issued by CDPH required
    Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH must be obtained within 6 months of hire
    Venipuncture certificate required within 3 months of hire
    ARRT-R certification is required
    Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited program required
    Current BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
    At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
    Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
    Proficient computer skills required
    License required if applicable
