    Description

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    Occupational Therapist - Hand/Upper Extremity DESCRIPTION/


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Work Schedule : 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. 8 hour shifts scheduled Monday
    • Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am 6:00 pm.
    Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department. Be part of something remarkable Help patients live their lives to the fullest. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist
    • Hand/Upper Extremity to: * Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide them through individualized rehabilitation programs.
    * Efficiently communicate with physician referral sources and other UW Health departments for care coordination and collaboration.

    * Work in collaboration with UW Health wellness staff to consider long term healthy living strategies beyond occupational therapy care.

    * Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional patient and family centered care.

    OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education :
    Minimum
    • Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Therapy.
    Preferred
    • Master\'s degree.

    Work Experience :
    Preferred - Two (2) years prior relevant experience


    Licenses and Certifications :
    Minimum - * Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Wisconsin is required. * Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire.
