    Director of Talent Acquisition


    to join our team As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of talent management, leading and overseeing all aspects from strategic recruitment and onboarding preparation to fostering a positive and productive work environment through employee relations initiatives.

    This position plays a crucial role in attracting, acquiring, and retaining top talent, ensuring that the organization has the skilled workforce necessary to achieve its goals.

    As such, prior experience and high levels of comfort with

    travel between site locations and participation within career-related community events is required.

    Requirements

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies:


    Employ diverse recruitment tactics for driving top talent towards the agency's job listings, leveraging social media platforms, online job boards, and digital community spaces focused on career opportunities.

    Analyze business needs and partner with hiring managers to identify current and future talent requirements.
    Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with business objectives.
    Collaborate with the Community Relations Department to promote recruitment initiatives.
    Stay informed of market trends and competitor landscape to ensure competitive hiring practices.

    Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies, community partners, academic institutions, and professional networks to capitalize on opportunities to source candidates.


    Manage the Talent Acquisition Team:
    Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, ensuring access to resources needed to succeed.
    Ulitize hiring and retention metrics to monitor individual and team performance.
    Oversee the creation and implementation of effective job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.

    Drive a positive candidate experience:
    Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates.
    Address any escalated questions or concerns, and incorporate feedback for the betterment of the department and the company.
    Develop employer social media branding initiatives to attract the attention of top talent and promote the company culture.

    Support the integration of new hires into the organization:

    Partner with onboarding and training teams to ensure that new hires are properly welcomed and integrated into their team.
    Collaborate with other departments to ensure new hires receive comprehensive training and support.

    Maintain a positive and productive work environment:

    Partner with leadership and other departments to foster a positive work environment and address employee relations concerns.
    Oversee probationary period check-ins for new hires around their 30, 60, and 90 day employment milestones.
    Advocate for new and established employees, ensuring a fair and inclusive workplace.

    Engage in recruitment tasks as needed:

    Source, screen, and interview candidates, leading the selection process for key positions.
    Represent the agency positively at job fairs, professional networking events, and community hiring expos.
    Respond promptly and professionally to candidate inquiries and concerns.


    Required Skills & Abilities:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    Proven track record of success in developing and implementing talent management strategies.
    Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    Ability to travel as needed to various agency locations and/or career-related community events.
    Ability to strategically, logically, and realistically analyze, evaluate, and develop solutions the agency's business needs.

    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build relationships with individuals of all ages, ethnicity, education, and work experience.

    Understands and maintains confidentiality and all regulations regarding HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
    Understands Labor Laws and employment equity regulations.

    Manage talent process by supporting and coaching leaders in proactively assessing, identifying, acquiring, and developing the human capital required to execute business strategy.

    Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
    Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, as well as various social media platforms.

    Exhibits professionalism and a friendly demeanor, and is a positive representative of the company over the phone and in person.

    Comfort with computers and technology.
    Reliable, ethical, and honest work ethic.

    Required Experience & Education:
    Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
    Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or related roles.
    Minimum of five (5) years of leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience.
    Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
    Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with diverse and/or underserved populations preferred.
    CPR and First Aid Certified.
