- On the job training is expected as training associated with this role is long term. Mastering tasks will take months to years, so a desire to learn new skills and concepts is required.
- Willing to learn, open-minded and curious.
- Attention to detail, mechanically inclined and willing to learn the concepts behind how components work in addition to the steps required for tuning them.
- Learn assembly and testing of RF products and ensure product meets specifications defined by engineering drawings and data sheets.
- Ensure that work travelers are complete and accurate.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Two or more years in a technical role or manufacturing environment or experience in skilled trades helpful.
- Associates degree in Electronics or knowledge of hand radio helpful.
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and able to work well with associates at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
- Requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
- Routinely communicates face-to-face on telephone and in writing require strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Normally standing with freedom of movement on a regular basis and ability to move within a campus setting.
- Ability to lift and manipulate R.F. Components and Test Equipment up to 50lbs.
