    **Job Description**

    **THE GYM** is looking for a unique individual to join their professional Customer Service Team. All GYM Employees must promote the Vision, Mission and Culture of **THE GYM** at all times and be able to inherently deliver Five-Star Customer Service throughout all functions of their duties. Teamwork, excellent communication skills, hard work and integrity are fundamental characteristics of a GYM Employee. As a member of the Customer Service Team, a Representatives goal is to provide members with the best possible fitness experience by delivering superior customer service with a genuine desire to help. Clear communication, efficient multi tasking and effective inter personal interactions are critical for the Customer Service Representative to deliver on a daily basis. A Representative must be committed to the members, reliable to his/her co-workers and maintain a work space in a meticulously detailed and functional manner.

    **The following is a list of the duties associated with The Customer Service Position at THE GYM:**

    **Member and Staff Safety:**

    Follow all NJ Department of Health and CDC regulations and guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19

    Maintain a clean and sanitized work space and customer area

    Follow all safety, sanitation and social distancing according to THE GYM training protocols

    Assist in the adherence to all safety, sanitation and social distancing guidelines to members and other staff

    **Member Relations:**

    Greet all members and guests in friendly and courteous manner

    Manage member and guest enrollment in programs and events

    Gather complete and accurate information to provide to Membership Team from prospects

    Answer incoming calls in a clear and friendly and expedient manner

    Provide information to the best of your ability; consistently review and update knowledge of programs, classes and club operations, GYM events, policies, etc.

    **Point Of Sale Transactions:**

    Assist the Membership Team with processing membership contracts

    Assist the Personal Training Team with processing service contracts

    Process profit center and retail sales transactions

    Be proficient with opening and closing the Point Of Sale Cash drawers

    **Juice Bar:**

    Prepare custom blended protein shakes

    Maintain appropriate levels of all juice bar supplies

    Maintain a sanitary and organized workspace

    **Responsibilities:**

    Member and Staff Safety

    Member Relations

    Point Of Sale Transactions

    Juice Bar

    **Qualifications:**

    Fitness Experience a plus

    Exhibit and practice a high level of dedication to THE GYM's vision, mission and culture

    Possess good judgment and superior customer service and communication skills

    Must represent oneself in a professional, ethical and respectful manner at all times

    Exceptional interpersonal skills, working with team members and clients

    Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively while giving proper service

    Possess excellent conflict resolution skills and be able to diplomatically manage confrontation

    Must be available to work a variety of work hours including day, evening, weekends and holidays

    Able to withstand the physical requirements of the job as described for the duration of shift, including standing and walking.

    Familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel and ability to quickly comprehend and absorb club management software
