Day to Day
An employer is looking for a Controller sitting onsite in the Santa Fe Springs area. This individual will oversee all general accounting and cost accounting functions for an aerospace company. They will be overseeing a team of 3 individuals. This role will require the Controller to be very hands on with the team's daily responsibilities. In addition to general accounting and cost accounting functions, they will develop internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities. They will be coordinating and direct budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning. This person will ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. They will ensure accurate financial records and monitor cash flow through expenses and invoices.
