    *Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Responsibilities Lead assigned staff in performing medical and diagnostic imaging activities or tasks.
    Ensure quality in imaging, patient care and work flow. Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
    Serve as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed.
    Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations.
    Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

    Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).

    Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

    Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

    Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays
