- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach, coordinating with other healthcare professionals (e.g., surgeons, physical therapists, psychologists, and primary care physicians) to provide comprehensive care.
- Prescribe, administer, and manage medications and interventions as needed, while monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
- Perform interventional procedures, such as nerve blocks, spinal injections, and implantable devices, in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families on pain management strategies, including self-care techniques, coping mechanisms, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and stay current on advancements in pain management techniques and research.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient care and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our pain management program.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Management.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
- Board Certified / Board Eligible Anesthesiologist or PM&R Specialist
- Completed / completing fellowship in Pain Management / Medicine
- Active or Eligible for Texas Medical License
- Experienced in the procedures that we perform regularly
- 2 or more years' experience in interventional pain management in a private practice setting.
- Experience with interventional pain management techniques, such as spinal cord stimulation, radio-frequency ablation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
- Maturity: We are an established interventional pain management specialty practice that has been in business for over 14 years with 3 clinics across the Greater Houston and Victoria, TX area.
- Outpatient / Single Specialty: We are a single specialty practice. We hone our skills in pain medicine and dive deep in learning more to continually provide our patients with the best possible treatments and outcomes. We have hospital affiliations but we operate on an outpatient basis.
- 100% Physician Owned: We are not owned by or affiliated with any private equity firms or hospital owned. We are physician owned and provide ownership opportunities to all future physicians.
- Advanced, Modern In Clinic Care: We have invested in our facilities to provide our physicians and our patients with the best environment. We have an in office OR suite, in office anesthesia, C-Arm in every office, as well as an advanced CLIA lab in our Bellaire, TX office.
