Shield HealthCare is looking for an Information Systems Analyst responsible for project deliverables regarding the implementation of companywide/enterprise projects. The position serves as the link between the business units ensuring that system issues, changes, and enhancements are investigated prior to programming.

This is an on-site position in Valencia, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Document and analyze current business processes when / where IT change is requested.
Develop and maintain documentation such as business system process diagrams and training materials.
Work with business customers to create use cases for software development or IT operational projects.
Responsible for planning and implementing product testing.
Responsible for software testing and quality assurance activities.
Evaluate software for release readiness and report defects to software developers.
Communicate project status and progress to team members and stakeholders.
Work with business customers to develop and implement detailed training and change management plans.
Provide post-go-live warranty support to business customers.
Make business process change recommendations for improvement (senior level).
Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion (senior level).
Provide support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Systems Analyst experience, or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in management information systems or information science a plus.
Robust computer proficiency.
Strong ability to learn and understand business processes, document business process requirements, and interpret them into future technology solutions.
Brilliant written and verbal communication skills; understands how and when to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Superb relationship management skills.
Solid presentation skills in front of small groups, including mid- and senior-level management.
Excellent analytic and organizational skills.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience working in agile development a plus.
Project Management Institute (PMI) training / certification(s) or equivalent a plus.
Ability to travel as needed (less than 5% of the time).
