    We've partnered with Solid Sealing Technology (SST) to find a Sales Manager to lead their team. The Sales Manager will be at the forefront of driving sales excellence for a company that's a key player in the high-tech world of hermetic sealing solutions. SST's products, ranging from vacuum feedthroughs to hermetic connectors, are integral in various industries, including medical, industrial, and research facilities. Their innovative solutions have even contributed to NASA's Mars Insight Mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and Transform Sales Operations: You will be responsible for transforming their internal sales team into proactive sales professionals. This involves developing a more structured sales infrastructure, including implementing a CRM system compatible with their MRP.

    Global Market Expansion: Within your first year, you will focus on mastering the technical aspects of their products and sales processes. In the second year, your goal will be to expand their international market presence, building on consistent YOY growth.

    Team Management and Development: Oversee a team of internal sales professionals and external distributors. Your role includes hiring, training, and evaluating performance, ensuring the team is equipped to drive better customer relationships and meet sales targets.

    Strategic Sales Planning: Assign territories, set quotas, and work closely with the Marketing Manager to identify new markets and customer targets. You will also be involved in reviewing and negotiating technical contracts and NDAs.

    Product and Service Expertise: Consult with customers to understand their needs, providing design advice and product suggestions. Collaborate with the engineering department for custom-designed assemblies, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Must have proven leadership in sales within a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
    • Strong ability in sales strategy development and execution.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • At least five years of sales experience in manufacturing or a comparable sales leadership role.
    • Experience with CRM and ERP systems implementation is highly desirable.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    • Salary commensurate with experience, from $135-150K
