    About the Role:

    The primary objective of this position is to lead and supervise the accounting functions across all sites and divisions within the organization. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, managing Corporate Accounting functions, and collaborating with the Financial Planning & Analysis group to provide timely and insightful information for effective business management and growth objectives. Additionally, the role includes serving as the Track Lead for Finance in the ERP replacement project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead various Corporate Accounting and Finance teams involved in centralized accounting-related transactions, month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Take overall responsibility for global financial statements, encompassing the review and validation of individual division income statements, as well as the consolidation of balance sheets and cash flow statements.
    • Oversee the consolidation and translation of financial results for international business units outside the U.S.
    • Collaborate with FP&A to ensure proper consolidation and financial integration for newly acquired businesses, including opening balance sheet work and adherence to U.S. GAAP acquisition accounting standards.
    • Assume a lead role for the Finance Track in the implementation of the new ERP system, overseeing the development of processes, internal controls, and business reporting.
    • Ensure the maintenance of policies and procedures for plant-level cost and inventory accounting, ensuring compliance with FASB guidelines.
    • Collaborate closely with the parent company to align on property and casualty insurance coverages, income tax inputs, audit requirements, and coordination of bank/cash management.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
    • Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
    • Industry Experience: Strongly desired experience in a manufacturing company. Previous experience with ERP systems is required, and design/implementation experience is a plus.
    • Skills/Behaviors: Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and a broad business perspective.
