Description

The Security Officer Level II is responsible for performing entry-level security duties for both casino locations. Duties include walking the perimeter of the casinos, parking lots and garages, safeguards property assets by observing and reporting suspicious activity, provides superior guest service while interacting with guests and employees, and promotes good employee relations. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $21.52/hr with an increase to $22.06/hr with successful completion of 90-day orientation period.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience & Requirements:

Able to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures

Excellent communication and guest service skills

Basic report-writing skills required
Physical Requirements:

The ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis

Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours

Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Upon offer must obtain Class IIIA Gaming License ($

Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
