Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of Operating Room Technician.
• The Obstetrical Technician functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

• High School diploma or GED required; and,

1. 1. Successful completion of a certification-eligible training program and ten years experience,
   2. Successful completion of a non-certification-eligible training program and twelve years experience,
   3. Successful completion of an on-the-job training program with fifteen years experience, or
   4. Certification and seven years experience

• Certification preferred; obtained within 1 year of employment
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP or must obtain within six months
