Remedy is thrilled to partner with a large and rapidly growing company in the technology sector who is now embarking on a critical search to welcome a new Accounting Manager to their incredible team.

Internally known as an Accounting Operations Manager this person will be wearing multiple hats by overseeing accounting and collaborating deeply with all departments including Customer Service, Warehouse/Shipping and IT.

As their Accounting Operations Manager, you will be tasked with the following duties:
Oversee the accounting department function, includes managing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial transactions.
Prepare financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conducting/overseeing

audits
Assist in implementing and managing company budgets and resources
Manage accounting department team of 9+ employees
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Monitor and improve employee performance
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards, (State, Federal and Local)
Assist in hiring and training staff, delegating tasks, and providing feedback and guidance to ensure that the team is performing effectively
Support warehouse and customer service operations by providing problem-solving guidance on customer, shipping and/or order-related issues
We're looking for an Accounting Operations Manager with the following background profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
At least 5+ years experience in an

accounting/operations

role PLUS 5+ years in an

accounting/operations

leadership role
Strong knowledge around ERP systems
Excellent knowledge around GAAP

The overall role for this Accounting Operations Manager will be to ensure that the company's operations run smoothly and efficiently in order to effectively meet business goals.

This requires an individual with a sound accounting background but more importantly, we seek an individual who can be a role model for all employees, approaching this position with an extremely positive, supportive and flexible attitude to achieve the best outcomes for employees, vendors and clients.
