    Wells Fargo is seeking an Assistant General Counsel who will be a member of the Legal Department and responsible for advising senior management on certain of the company's corporate disclosures, as well as assisting with various corporate treasury and corporate governance activities.

    Advise on public company matters, including SEC filings and other public disclosures, corporate treasury activities, corporate governance, and securities law compliance matters.

    Review, provide comments, and advise on compliance with securities law requirements and best practices for significant environmental, social and governance disclosures, including implementation of the SEC's climate disclosure rules.

    Advise our corporate treasury team on certain capital markets, securities, and funding transactions.

    Participate in and handle various corporate governance activities, including activities related to the company's insider trading policy and procedures.

    Provide substantive legal advice on securities law compliance matters, capital markets activities, disclosure controls and procedures, and corporate governance best practices.

    Provide legal advice and influence objectives, plans, resources, and long-term goals for a variety of disclosures, treasury, and governance related activities.

    Handle matters that have a significant impact on the company's operations, communications, funding, and reputation.
    Provide legal expertise on implementing and completing significant corporate disclosures, corporate treasury transactions, and public company governance activities.
    5+ years of Law experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    ~ 5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and experience advising publicly traded companies on SEC filings and other public disclosures, corporate treasury, corporate governance, and securities law compliance matters.
    ~ Significant experience providing substantive securities law advice on a variety of corporate disclosures, as well as corporate treasury and corporate governance related activities.
    ~ Financial services industry experience.
    ~ Ability to analyze, develop, and execute solutions to complex legal issues.

    Ability to work a hybrid schedule (in office at least 3 days a week) at one of our approved job posting locations.
