POSITION: Senior Accountant
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Finance
REPORTS TO: VP, Finance Controller
FLSA Status: Salaried/Exempt

ASM Global has an immediate opening for a Senior Staff Accountant at ASM Global Corporate Office, located in West Conshohocken, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Conduct month end and year end closures
+ Provide analytic and accounting support for Global Programs to include coordination with company stakeholders
+ Prepare/create financial/KPI reporting for Global Programs
+ Record and analysis activity of programs to include billing, revenue and cost recognition
+ Coordinate with department/program leads to ensure appropriate accounting/reporting is completed for all programs
+ Ensure intercompany accounting transactions are recorded according to accounting policy
+ Perform monthly variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts and research any discrepancies
+ Respond to information requests, reviewing financial statements and assisting with audits
+ Prepare monthly closing journal entries
+ Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly
+ Produce reports to upper management upon request
+ Maintain open communications with all departments as necessary
Other duties and responsibilities:
+ Assist with the documentation and testing of internal controls
+ Training on financial systems as necessary

Education and/or Experience
+ 3+ years of related experience
+ 3+ years experience in accounting
+ Demonstrated professionalism and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles including revenue recognition
+ Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently
+ Strong organization and communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft products
+ Ability to quickly learn new financial systems and tools
+ Professional demeanor
