- Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related helping field, prefer at least 2 years of Case Management experience. MSW or related Master degree preferred. Health care experience, bilingual is a plus. Prefer experience in working with diverse populations. This 4-day, 32/hour a week, position will provide services through both the Independence, Missouri and Overland Park, Kansas office.

- Ability to communicate well and represent the mission of Cancer Action to clients,
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional care to agency clients.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to plan, organize, multitask and prioritize
- Good computer skills necessary for client data reporting and service delivery tracking
- Knowledge of local, national and government resources, health care and/or issues
