    We are currently seeking an experienced:

    PAYROLL SUPERVISOR

    Full Time

    Job Description:

    • Prepare and process multiple payrolls weekly.
    • Prepare and maintain assigned payroll 941's and cash flow spreadsheets.
    • Set up direct deposit information. Follow up as needed with facilities to ensure direct deposit information is complete.
    • Forward unemployment claims to appropriate facility. Partner with the appropriate facility to ensure timely processing of claims.
    • Prepare quarterly reports, e.g. 940, 941, SUTA, etc.
    • Process 401k transmissions and deferred compensation.
    • Set up, prepare and process garnishments for assigned payrolls. Coordinate with accounting to ensure prompt accurate payments to garnishee.
    • Prepare and process year-end reports, W-2's, Annual Tax Reconciliations, and other State and Federal Reports in compliance with Federal and State requirements.
    • Manage workflow and day to day supervision of payroll staff: approval of flex schedules, time off request, and attendance issues.
    • Initiates payroll processing quality assurance reviews; identifies training issues/problem prone processes to ensure optimal efficiency and error free operations.
    • Acts as a Payroll Manager/Director backup on all matters.
    • Provide assistance as need to ensure ALL payroll processes are complete.
    • Partner with HR on dissemination of HR related materials, e.g. 401k, medical/health enrollment and miscellaneous notices as needed.
    • Process and review all bank reconciliations.
    Job Requirements:
    • 4 year degree in applicable field of study (preferred) and/or equivalent combination of experience.
    • Must have experience with Lawson/Infor.
    • Knowledge of applicable state and federal payroll and related tax regulations, legislation and guidelines including but not limited to: writs of garnishments, child support, levies, subpoenas, non-resident alien and U.S. tax treaties.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting practices, regulations and procedures
    • Must possess exceptional writing skills to partner with other Support Teams to prepare, update, consolidate and disseminate in-house policies and procedures manuals, payroll processing instructions, payroll manuals for facility usage, e.g. HealthWyse, Lawson, WFM, orientation materials, ensure consistency processes.
    • Skilled in leading the work activities of others. Assist with technical questions and provide support to the staff.
    • Skills in evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities.
    • Must be a team player, reliable and willing to assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
    • Must be proficient in Excel/Word/ MS Office.
