    Job Title: Industrial Equipment Technician

    The Industrial Equipment Technician role at Delta Air Lines is all about ensuring the reliability of equipment used in Technical Operations. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating various industrial equipment and testing systems. To excel in this position, you'll need to be skilled in interpreting schematics and manuals to diagnose issues and upkeep machinery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work collaboratively to upkeep machinery and minimize downtime
    • Troubleshoot programmable controllers and computer process controls
    • Conduct repairs for optimal reliability
    • Document maintenance activities using CMMS
    • Adjust device parts and controllers to meet specifications
    • Fabricate repair parts as needed
    • Stay updated with technical knowledge through training
    • Ensure a safe and clean work environment
    • Maintain parts inventory and order supplies
    • Contribute to team efforts as required
    • Practice safety procedures diligently

    The starting hourly rate for this position is $37.22 with opportunities to earn up to $37.81 based on additional qualifications like licenses and shift differentials.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
    • 2-year technical degree
    • Proficiency in AC/DC controls and electrical circuits
    • Experience with PLC systems
    • Ability to read schematics and manuals
    • Strong mechanical aptitude
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Physical fitness to lift 70 pounds
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Authorization to work in the U.S.
    • Safety-conscious mindset

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2-year degree apprenticeship in related field
    • Previous Industrial Maintenance experience
    • Understanding of electrical principles
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
