Position Summary:

The Machinist Apprentice is a training position that will allow you to develop the skills to become a Machinist.

Job Description:

• Operate CNC machinery with the assistance of a Machinist to ensure parts meet specifications
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to include SPC part inspection
• Follow procedures and quality requirements
• Clean and maintain CNC machines

Physical Attributes:

• Manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects
• Moderate lifting

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical/Trade school graduate
• Previous basic machining, precision measuring and blueprint reading experience
• A mechanical aptitude and a commitment to learning as well as to adopt good work habits.
• Attention to fine detail and high quality.
