    Senior Technical Program Manager - ServiceNow


    As the Technical Program Manager (TPM) for the ServiceNow Platform team, you will be at the helm of reviewing and refining our backlog on a daily basis.

    Your responsibilities are to identify and eliminate tasks that are unnecessary or offer minimal value, requiring a keen technical understanding of each item in the backlog.

    Once a task is deemed essential, your responsibility extends to collaborating with customers; making sure work is clear; working with our team members across the US and India to assign appropriate story points; and preparing these tasks for seamless integration into our sprints.

    The ServiceNow Platform is vast and rich with features and custom solutions we've crafted and continuously support.

    In this role, you will dive deep into these aspects, becoming intimately familiar with our technology, clients, and team dynamics.

    Your guidance will shape our short-term achievements while setting our sights on long-term goals.

    Rather than being immersed in current tasks, your focus will be on strategically preparing the team for upcoming projects, ensuring we're always ready for what's next.

    What you will do


    • Review and refine the backlog on a daily basis
    • Identify and eliminate tasks that are unnecessary or offer minimal value
    • Have a keen technical understanding of each item in the backlog
    • Make sure work in the backlog is clear
    • Prioritize backlog work
    • Work with team members to put backlog items into a ready state
    • Assign appropriate story points
    • Collaborate with our customers
    • Insure priority of work is understood
    • Understand root problems, not only their solutions
    • Understand what it means to not just perform requested work
    • Establish repeatable processes that can be followed to maintain backlog work
    • Ensure completed development work meets or exceeds the needs of what is being requested
    Who you are


    • Achieved a Bachelor's of Arts or Bachelor's of Science or equivalent experience
    • 10+ years of relevant experience
    • Keen understanding of ServiceNow
    • Have an aptitude to understand technical requirements
    • Are interested in learning more about how ServiceNow works and the offerings provided
    • Are approachable and proactively reach out with a strong bias for action
    • Regularly look to understand and improve your skills


    The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242, Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.


    Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
