A Direct Support Professional works as scheduled by the Regional Manager and/or his/her designee.

Overtime may be required as dictated by operational needs, however, no holiday or overtime may be worked without the prior approval of the Direct Support Professional's supervisor.

Facilitate the client's inclusion in positive community experiences. Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or other locations as needed, ensuring safety and timeliness during travel.

Maintain current knowledge of client's needs. Maintain positive communications and relationships with his/her supervisor, clients, landlords, employers, involved members offamilies, Regional Center, D.O.R. and other individuals in the community.
